Meet Julio Trujillo

Julio Trujillo is the founder of Trujillo Law, LLC, a Chicago-based law firm focused on representing individuals and families harmed by dangerous products, occupational exposures, and personal injuries. His practice is grounded in a commitment to holding corporations accountable and advocating for individuals whose lives have been profoundly affected by preventable injuries and illnesses.

Mr. Trujillo has experience in complex civil litigation, including toxic torts, product liability, and occupational disease cases. Having worked in both defense and plaintiff-side litigation, he brings a valuable perspective to evaluating claims, developing litigation strategies, and understanding how corporate defendants approach high-stakes disputes. His experience includes legal research, motion practice, discovery, witness preparation, and trial proceedings.

Most notably, Mr. Trujillo had the privilege of serving as second-chair trial counsel alongside Brayton Purcell LLP, a nationally recognized leader in silicosis litigation, in the California case of Jose Luis Martir-Navarro v. Caesarstone Ltd. and Caesarstone USA, Inc. The case involved a countertop fabrication worker who developed severe silicosis following years of exposure to artificial stone products. On October 21, 2026, the jury returned a $33 million verdict in favor of the plaintiff and his wife. Mr. Trujillo worked alongside lead trial attorney Liliana Carbone and the Brayton Purcell trial team in presenting the case against the manufacturers. The experience reinforced his commitment to pursuing accountability for workers harmed by hazardous products.
